About La Loubière
The fenced pool (12.5m x 6m/39ft x 20ft) has comfortable teak loungers with cushions to relax on (pool towels are provided) and is surrounded by over two acres of grounds, with views of lavender, thyme and rosemary covered hills. The surrounding area is grass with some swings and space for ball games. Guests have unlimited access to the tennis court, which is set in the grounds of the chateau and has been resurfaced in 2017.
We have a selection of tennis racquets which guests are welcome to borrow, however, serious players are advised to bring their own racquets.
La Loubiere is a perfect base from where to hike, cycle/mountain bike and for horse riding with its proximity to the Durance River and the Luberon hills. All of these activities can be organised locally.
For golf enthusiasts, there are two courses of a high standard, less than 30 minutes away. Pont Royal, designed by Seve Ballesteros is probably the most famous, however, Golf du Luberon is also highly recommended for its course and stunning views.
Guests can also indulge their culinary skills with a range of cookery courses, wine tasting and chocolate making nearby.
All the major car hire companies are represented at the airports and train stations.
